Harmony

Music is amazing. Thinking about all the complexities and nuances to music can literally go on forever. One of the most beautiful things about music is the harmony, when one’s vocals blend perfectly with another’s. Music just sounds better when it’s in harmony. When it’s not, it sounds wrong, hard to listen to, like nails on a chalkboard.

Just like music, our bodies work best in harmony. When we are in harmony with our environment, our bodies project health and well-being. When we’re out of harmony, disease and illness moves in.

Our nervous system is constantly communicating all over our body. If there is disruption in this communication signal, there is a loss of harmony. In other words, wherever the signal was supposed to be going is effectively shut off from the rest of the body. At first there may not be symptoms. However, if left uncorrected long enough, disease begins and symptoms will usually start to increase.

The nervous system is the master control of the body and it needs harmony to work. Harmony exists in all life, not just in our bodies or in music. Everything works better when it works together, as a team. See how you can produce more harmony in your body by living closer with the laws of nature. Hint: You do this by eating, thinking, and moving correctly. We will discuss each of these in more detail in upcoming blogs. Stay healthy friends!
